INTRODUCTION

Our task was to find five different cases of copyright infringment violation in songs/audio. The songs that I chose were 'Blurred Lines' by Robin Thicke versus 'Got to Give it Up' by Marvin Gaye, 'Viva La Vida' by Coldplay versus Joe Satriani's 'If I Could Fly', 'Ice Ice Baby' by Vanilla Ice versus Queen and David Bowie's 'Under Pressure, The Doors' 'Hello I Love You' versus The Kinks' 'All Day and All Night', and Huey Lewis' 'Ghost Busters versus 'I Want A New Drug' by Ray Parker Jr.
