MS Excel: Data and Graphs

INTRODUCTION

For our task, we were first given a number from one to four. Then our teacher assigned us different regions. For example; if you got the number one, then you were assigned the Philippines. If you did get a certain region, you are supposed to pick one or more countries/provinces/cities, that you are supposed to plan a trip to. I chose the country/province/city: (Put you place here). Our task was to become a travelling agency, and plan the cheapest possible trip to our chosen country/province/city, this would include all expenses, such as food, transportation, hotel, airfare, estimated personal expenses, and many more. Then when we were done planning out at least seven different tourist destinations for our trip, we had to compute everything, from the total cost of our transportation, total cost of our food, total cost of hotel, and total cost of our overall trip. Then we had to make a graph, so that the person looking at the plan, can be able to visually grasp the trip itself.

REFLECTION
Before we were tasked with creating our brochures, we had to do our MS Excel as a basis. We pick one place, then pick seven or more attractions from that place. The places would vary from provinces to countries to cities, so we had a large variety of countries to choose from. Doing this unit helped us a lot because we go to work with excel and we go to look at different things like air fare, bus fare, etc. Our brochure is to consist of the place, information about the attraction, and most importantly; pictures! The average person would have about seven or more brochures, that is a lot persuasion to visit one country or city, so you could say that we successfully completed our task. We now know how to research for flights and all of those travel things (change that word, I didn't know what to use). I had quite a difficulty in the IF Statement for MS Excel because it was quite confusing, I also had a problem with conditional formating, but I soon got a hang of it and in the end, I believe that I did a good job and is proud of my work.
